March 2011
FOREWORD
Welcome
to our first eNews of 2011. This newsletter is designed to provide you
with all the Electrical Safety News to keep up to date with
the Industry. We have had a crazy start to the new year, with lots
going on at Extreme Safety and in the Industry. There is no sign of
this
slowing down, and we are off to Safety in Action (Melbourne) next
month. Come and see us for some great new products and giveaways!
Please forward this to your friends and colleagues, and tell them they
can sign up at our website. Cheers - Andre Borell
INDUSTRY
NEWS
A
coroner has found
an accident that killed a 2 year
old boy in his own home during September of 2009 could have been
avoided by the use of a safety
switch in the home. This is a timely reminder that every home should
have a
safety switch. Visit Switch Thinking
- an
initiative of Master Electricians Australia, for more info on safety
switches.
In
other
news, we have recently finished our head office solar power
project, meaning we now generate enough power to supply our entire
office and
warehouse facility. We decided to go green to do our part for the
environment,
and are proud to ‘flick the switch’ and turn on our
array of of solar panels.
