DEHNventil Type 1 SPD

The DEHNventil Type 1 SPD is designed to provide surge protection to low voltage consumers from surges from indirect lightning strikes or power authority switching surges. The SPD is also capable of surge protection from direct lightning strikes, and provides this with the guarantee of not tripping 20A breakers. The DEHNventil is available in various configurations, for single phase, or three phase systems.

The unique RADAX flow gas technology is the secret to the success of the DEHNventil, and its ability to absorb lightning impulses without causing damage to plant and equipment, and without tripping main breakers.

The protection module provides indication of current state (green OK, yellow replace, red disconnected) and is easily replaced without tools or the need to de energise.

DEHNventil is fully co-ordinated with other DEHN units from Type 1 - Type 3 SPD, and is suitable for use at lightning zone boundaries 0-2.

DEHNguard Type 2 SPD

DEHNguard is the perfect form of primary lightning protection SPD for power sources under AS/NZS 1768:2007. The DEHNguard provides excellent protection against both lightning strikes and power surges (whether the surges be from indirect lightning strikes or from power utility switching).
