LV Switchboard Rescue Kit
LV Switchboard Rescue Kits are required by law in Queensland for any person carrying out live electrical work. Extreme Safety has a LV Rescue Kits that complies with and exceeds the applicable Standard. The contents of the kit are again, not only sufficient, but of very high quality to ensure electrical safety. The kit contains, in a brightly colored bag:
- Insulating Gloves Class 0 (1000V)
- Insulated Crook (LV - tested to 15kV)
- Fire Blanket (1.2m x 1.8m)
- Multi Trauma (Burns) Dressing
- "Isolate Here" Sign
- Torch
It is very highly recommended for any persons working on live electricity, but also advisable for anyone working near a risk or electric shock, such as firemen, police, paramedics and so on.
Pole Top Rescue Kit
Pole Top Rescue Kits are necessary for anyone when working on a live pole. Having one of these kits with you will ensure that if something does go wrong, you are prepared, and that someone can potentially save your life. These kits come in a bright yellow fiberglass box with the following contents.
- 30m safety rope (Complies with AS 4142.3)
- Snap hooks (Complies with AS/NZS 1891.1 Clause 3.3.2)
- Body Belt
- Pole Strap
- Tool Pouch
- Knife
- Cable Cutter
