BLITZDUCTOR SPD
The BLITZDUCTOR range of IT and Networking Surge Protection Devices is distributed in Australia by Extreme Safety. The BLITZDUCTOR range provides many features never seen in the Australian Surge Protection market previously, and caters for Automation, IT, signal and network systems.
With a Universal Base piece, which the Surge Protection Device (SPD) module attaches to, the BLITZDUCTOR range is simple and user friendly. There are no tools required for replacing the SPD module, only for wiring in the base piece at the time of installation. The universal base also features an automatic earthing feature to the DIN rail, which means less work and faster installation.

The LIFECHECK feature also enables the BLITZDUCTOR IT SPD modules to have a "health checkup" too see when they are nearing the need for replacement. The SPD module can then be replaced in seconds, without the need for tools or electrical expertise.
Also part of the BLITZDUCTOR range is surge protection for Krone Block Technology. The DEHNrapid SPD can be plugged directly into the DRL plug-in terminal block, or into a LSA disconnection block. The BLITZDUCTOR Yellow/Line range is also available in intrinsically safe models, which come on the intrinsically safe blue colour. All of the models available on the standard yellow range, to suit the systems listed above, are also available in blue (intrinsically safe SPD).
